After the third weekend of college football, the media and coaches polls were announced today and six Big Ten teams continue to receive at least one vote with three teams ranked among the top 25. Penn State climbed to fourth in the USA Today coaches poll while remaining fifth in the Associated Press (AP) rankings. Ohio State was rated 11th by the coaches and 13th by the media while Michigan continued to climb the polls, moving up to 23rd in the AP poll and making its first appearance in the coaches poll at No. 22. Iowa is also receiving votes in both polls, while Wisconsin and Minnesota received at least one vote from the coaches.
