College football's top kicking award, the Lou Groza Collegiate Place Kicker Award recognizes three of the top kickers each week from Football Bowl Subdivision teams as the "Stars of the Week" and Purdue's Carson Wiggs was one of the honorees after his performance last Saturday. Wiggs' four field goals were the difference in the Boilermakers' upset of Ohio State in West Lafayette. Wiggs connected from 27, 32, 49 and 55 yards and added two PAT's. The Texas native hit a career-long 59-yard field goal in week one of the season and is now 2-of-4 from over 50 yards. He is perfect on three attempts from 40-plus yards. It was Purdue's first win over a ranked team since 2003 and its first win over the Buckeyes since 2004.
