Seedings and matchups for the Big Ten Tournament, hosted by Michigan State University, were set Saturday with the conclusion of the regular season. Michigan State earned the No. 1 seed after winning its first outright Big Ten Championship in school history and an automatic spot in the tournament semifinals.
Ohio State earned the conference's No. 2 seed and will face seventh-seeded Penn State in the tournament's second game at approximately 1:15 p.m. ET on Thursday. Third-seeded Indiana will face No. 6 Northwestern at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET, while No. 4 Iowa will face No. 5 Michigan in the tournament opener at 11 a.m. ET.
Michigan State will face the winner of the Iowa-Michigan matchup in the first semifinal at 12:15 p.m. ET and the winner of Ohio State-Penn State will face the winner of Indiana-Northwestern in the second semifinal at approximately 2 p.m. ET. The championship and the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Championship will be on the line at Noon ET on Sunday. The tournament semifinals and final will be televised live by the Big Ten Network.
