In the latest Kookaburra/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday, all seven Big Ten field hockey teams received votes in this week's rankings, with three conference schools earning top 20 status.
Michigan State remained at No. 8 in the rankings for the third straight week. The Spartans have won six-straight matches, are undefeated in Big Ten play, and boast an 11-3 record overall. Also being voted into the top 20 were Northwestern (12-4), checking in at No. 16, and Ohio State (9-4), earning a No. 19 ranking.
The remaining four Big Ten schools ranked outside of the top 20, but still received votes this week. Indiana (8-5), Iowa (4-7), Michigan (6-8) and Penn State (4-9) were all recognized by the voters.
