Northwestern (9-2-4, 2-1-1) was the lone Big Ten team to grace this week's NSCAA/adidas Poll, voting in at No. 12. The Wildcats climbed five spots in the national rankings from the previous poll after garnering a pair of shutout victories over Loyola Chicago and Indiana last week. Penn State (9-4-2, 2-1-1) and Ohio State (8-4-4, 2-2-0) were also receiving votes outside the top 25.
