For the second consecutive week one program swept the weekly men's soccer laurels as Northwestern's Matt Eliason and Misha Rosenthal were tabbed Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for games played through Oct. 19-26. The weekly award is the second for the Wildcat duo this season. Eliason tallied his 12th goal of the year in Sunday's 2-0 win over Indiana, improving his career goals total to 29 - one shy of the Northwestern all-time record. His 12 goals are good enough to rank second in the nation in games played to date, and rate as the second-best season total in program history. For his stellar performance, Eliason was tabbed National Player of the Week by College Soccer News. On the defensive end, Rosenthal posted a pair of clean sheets in NU's two contests last week, padding his school career-shutout record total to 28.
