1. The Big Ten leads the nation with three teams ranked in the top seven of the latest AVCA coaches poll.
2. The Big Ten leads all conferences with four teams in the top 10 of the latest NCAA RPI report.
3. Six matches will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network or;jsessionid=vkkpnvnt45n6 this week.
4. Penn State extended its NCAA-record winning streak to 86 matches, while extending its Big Ten winning streak to 55 and its home win streak to 66.
5. Northwestern Kate Nobilio became the fifth player in Big Ten history to eclipse the 2,000 career digs milestone.
6. Johannah Bangert averaged 3.1 blocks per set last weekend to up her season average to 1.67 bps, which is tops in all of NCAA Division I.
7. Minnesota's Tabitha Love became the first player in Big Ten history to be named the conference's Freshman and Player of the Week.
8. Ashley Hughes was named Ohio State's first Player of the Week since 2007.
9. Penn State is one of just two undefeated teams in NCAA Division I.
10. Six Big Ten players rank among the NCAA's top 50 in hitting percentage, including the nation's leader, Arielle Wilson from Penn State (.586).
