The latest national polls are out and the Big Ten has four nationally-ranked teams, including three different programs appearing among the top 10 in at least one of the two rankings to lead all conferences. Big Ten Champion Ohio State continues to pace the conference at No. 8 overall in both the Associated Press (AP) and USA Today coaches rankings. Iowa joins the Buckeyes among the top 10 in the AP poll, while Penn State is rated among the top 10 in the coaches' estimation. The Hawkeyes are ranked No. 10 in the media poll and No. 11 in the coaches rankings. The Nittany Lions appear at No. 11 in the AP voting and No. 9 in the coaches poll. The SEC ranks second to the Big Ten with two top-10 teams, while no other conference has more than one team among the top 10. Wisconsin becomes the Big Ten's fourth Top 25 team, climbing to No. 24 in the AP poll and No. 22 in the coaches rankings. The Badgers return to the top 25 for the fifth time this season and the first time since the Nov. 15 polls.
