FB: Seven Big Ten Players Named Sporting News All-Americans

Seven Big Ten football standouts were named to the 2009 Sporting News All-American team, as Iowa offensive lineman Bryan Bulaga and Ohio State safety Kurt Coleman were both named to the first team. Three conference student-athletes earned second-team All-America honors in Illinois offensive lineman Jon Asamoah, Michigan defensive end Brandon Graham and Penn State linebacker Navorro Bowman. Michigan State linebacker Greg Jones and Penn State defensive tackle Jared Odrick were chosen for the third team. Jones has now been named to four different All-America teams, while Bulaga, Graham, Odrick and Iowa linebacker Pat Angerer have been honored by two different organizations.
