Fresh off of winning its first Challenge, the Big Ten is back in action beginning tonight when Michigan State hosts Wofford. Eight teams hit the hardwood on Saturday with games on the Big Ten Network, BigTenNetwork.com and ESPNU.

The Big Ten enters the weekend with a 50-24 non-conference record. The Big Ten is 8-4 versus teams ranked in the AP or ESPN/USA Today Top-25 polls.

Statistically, Michigan's Manny Harris leads the conference in scoring, averaging 21.7 points per game. Two other players are also averaging 20 or more points per contest in Ohio State's Evan Turner (20.6) and Penn State's Talor Battle (20.1). The top six scoring leaders are juniors (Harris, Turner, Battle, NU's Michael Thompson, MSU's Kalin Lucas and PUR's E'Twaun Moore).

On the boards, Turner sits atop the leaderboard, averaging 12.9 rebounds per contest. Illinois' Mike Davis (9.9) and Harris (9.2) round out the top three.

Turner leads the conference in assists (6.57 apg), while Minnesota's Al Nolen leads in steals (2.86 spg). Ohio State's Jon "Threebler" Diebler leads the Big Ten in...you guessed it...three-pointers made with 29 (4.14 per contest). Teammate Dallas Lauderdale is the leader in blocked shots, swatting 3.67 per game. Michigan State's Korie Lucious owns an assist-to-turnover ratio of 4.63 to top all players in the conference with 37 assists and only eight turnovers in seven games.
