Five Big Ten teams earned spots in the Division I Coaches Poll released Tuesday, Dec. 15. Michigan continued to lead the way for all conference schools and retained its spot at No. 7 in the national poll. Minnesota followed close behind the Wolverines, moving up three spots to No. 8.

The Ohio State Buckeyes checked in at No. 12 while Purdue voted in at No. 19. Rounding out the conference contingent to appear in the national rankings is Indiana at No. 20.

Three Big Ten teams are also receiving votes in Iowa, Penn State and Wisconsin.
