The Big Ten placed six teams in the top 25 of the latest NWCA/USA Today/InterMat polls released on Tuesday, most of any conference in the nation.

Three conference schools rank in the top five, including No. 1 Iowa, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 5 Minnesota. The Hawkeyes boast a perfect 8-0 record, while the Buckeyes won the team championship at last weekend's Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational. The Gophers enter Thursday's dual against nationally ranked Nebraska at 1-1.

Led by Angel Escobedo, the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, Indiana is ranked 13th in the latest poll. Penn State (4-1) is No. 14 and Wisconsin rounds out the ranked conference teams at No. 22.

Three Big Ten grapplers top the rankings in their respective weight classes. Michigan State's Franklin Gomez is No. 1 at 133, Ohio State's Reece Humphrey is tops at 141 and Iowa's Brent Metcalf leads the 149-pound weight class.
