Minnesota's Scott Matyas was named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Preseason Watch List, the organization announced Thursday. The award is given to the top relief pitcher in NCAA Division I baseball. Last year, Matyas recorded 15 saves in 23 appearances, posting a 2.22 ERA with 45 strikeouts to just seven walks.
