Eight conference schools are once again represented in the latest wrestling rankings released by the National Wrestling Coaches Association and InterMat.

In Tuesday's NWCA/USA Today rankings, eight conference squads pepper the top 25, including No. 1 Iowa, which now boasts a 16-0 overall record and a 2-0 mark in Big Ten action. Ohio State and Minnesota rank third and fifth, respectively, while Wisconsin, Penn State and Indiana occupy No. 12, No. 13 and No. 14, respectively. Illinois appears at No. 20, while Purdue rounds out the top 25 at No. 25.

InterMat's weekly rankings showcase seven conference schools and Iowa once again tops the charts at No. 1, while Ohio State checks in at No. 4 and Minnesota at No. 5. Penn State, Wisconsin and Indiana are 12th, 13th, and 14th, respectively, and Illinois rounds out the Big Ten squads at No. 24.

Also according to InterMat's rankings, four Big Ten grapplers rank at the top of their respective weight classes. Indiana's Angel Escobedo is No. 1 at 125 pounds, Michigan State's Franklin Gomez tops the 133-pound weight class, Iowa's Brent Metcalf leads the 149-pound group and Wisconsin's Andrew Howe is No. 1 at 165.
