All 11 men's conference golf teams will begin the 2010 season at the Big Ten Match Play Championship slated for Feb. 12-13 in Coral Springs Fla, at the Heron Bay Golf Club.  The course layout is expected to be a 7,268-yard, par-72. The Big Ten Network will be on hand to televise the event, airing tape delay coverage on Sunday, March 14 at Noon ET.

Each paring consists of six individual matches between the schools. Indiana emerged with the team crown at last year's inaugural event as the Hoosiers defeated Michigan in the tournament final.

Three conference programs begin the 2010 season rated in the top 50. Illinois begins the spring campaign ranked No.7 nationally in the Golfweek computer rankings. Michigan and Iowa round out the conference contingent inside the top-50 squads at No. 36 and 47, respectively.
