The conference office announced on Monday the fifth weekly men's indoor track and field awards for meets through February 1-7. Ohio State's Jeff See and Penn State's Blake Eaton garnered Track and Field Athlete of the Week laurels, respectively.
See ran a sub-four minute mile Saturday at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational, finishing in first-place with an NCAA automatic qualifying time of 3:58.82. The OSU senior is the second Buckeye to ever run a sub-four minute mile - indoor or outdoor.
In field competition, Eaton tossed a personal-best 60-10.50 (18.55m) to win the shot put. The NCAA provisional qualifying mark currently ranks ninth nationally and second among conference competitors. READ MORE ...
