So what if it was sunny outside when they were setting up inside, you ask? Well, when construction of Conseco Fieldhouse began in 1997, one of the building's unique features included large glass windows near the top of the upper deck, resembling many of the historic fieldhouses and gymnasiums that has helped create such a basketball culture throughout the state of Indiana.
And while Conseco Fieldhouse will close the drapes on the windows for all Big Ten Tournament games this week, it was nice to let the light shine down on the court for Tuesday's setup. Look to the left of the scoreboard in the picture above and you'll see the rays coming through. Definitely one of the most unique characteristics in any basketball arena in the country.
The weather will only add to this week's tournament festivities. Early reports call for 55-degree weather by the championship game on Sunday.
It's warming up, it's the basketball postseason, and all eyes are on Indianapolis this week as the Big Ten once again hits the Big Stage.

I am trying to find out how to register my daughters for the free b-ball clinic on Saturday (march 6, 2010) at Conseco Fieldhouse in Practice Court.
Unfortunately, the clinic registration is completely full at this point. Thanks for the interest however!
