Jim Olson, 25, is leading a team of eight Gopher fans that left Thursday morning at 4 a.m. from Bloomington, Minn., and traveled to the Circle City to cheer on the Maroon and Gold.
So far so good. His Gophers hold a 28-26 advantage over Michigan State at halftime of tonight's quarterfinal game.
Olson's company, which is comprised of his girlfriend, Tina Hanson, and her family, were all decked out in Minnesota gear, but it was Olson's striped overalls and headgear that caught the eye of SuperFan Search. Olson admitted that the overalls belong to a buddy of his, who is known to wear them at all the Gopher hockey games.
Not only is Olson a fashion icon, he is also an accomplished photographer.
Leave it to a wholesome Midwesterner to politely offer up his memory card to BigTen.org to give another angle of Evan Turner's game-winning 37-foot 3-pointer earlier today that lifted the Buckeyes past Michigan, 69-68. How about this timing???
Well done, sir. Well done.
