Hackett wins the first Big Ten Player of the Week honor of her career after helping Illinois go 4-1 over the weekend at the USF - The Game Tournament in Clearwater, Fla. The sophomore hit .500 (8-for-16) for the weekend with a 1.063 slugging percentage, as she hit three home runs, knocked in eight runs and scored five times. Hackett's standout game of the weekend came Saturday afternoon against Dartmouth, where she went 3-for-4 with three hits, including a home run, and a career-high five RBI.

Zust is named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week for the first time in her career after making five appearances and going 3-1 for Iowa over the weekend. She wrapped up her outstanding weekend by tossing a no-hitter against South Dakota, where she struck out eight and walked just two batters in an 8-0 Iowa win. She also earned complete-game victories against Syracuse and Florida Atlantic. On the weekend, Zust finished with a 1.01 earned run average, struck out 27 hitters and allowed just four earned runs in 27.2 innings of work.
