Prior to Penn State's quarterfinal matchup with the No. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes, BigTen.org caught up with the sixth-seeded Lady Lions at the Omni Severin in downtown Indianapolis.
Members of the Penn State program, including the women's team, head coach Coquese Washington, athletics administration, and support squads were gathered for a little pregame pep rally a little past noon today.
Athletics Director Tim Curley and Assistant Athletics Director Jenn James were among the Lady Lion faithful watching the women's squad loosen up by dancing to the beats of the Penn State pep band.
The cheerleading squad and the Nittany Lion mascot were also in attendance to help get this team pumped up for its quarterfinal contest against the Hawkeyes.
