Minnesota juniors Phil Asaksson and Scott Matyas combined to one-hit Indiana, leading the Gophers to a series win against the Hoosiers with a 10-0 win on Sunday. Isaksson started and earned the win, allowing just one hit and three walks with six strikeouts in seven innings. Matyas fanned five over two relief innings. Matt Puhl led the Minnesota offense, going 3-for-4 with a double and two runs. Ryan Abrahamson was 2-for-4 with two runs and four RBI, hitting his second homer of the year. Michael Early had the Hoosiers' only hit, his second triple of the season. Matt Carr was tagged with the loss.

A three-run second propelled Northwestern to a 6-3 win over Purdue on Sunday, giving the Wildcats the series victory. Chad Noble led NU on offense, going 2-for-5 with a run and three RBI. Paul Snieder picked up his first win of the season, allowing one run in three innings of relief. Snieder also went 1-for-4 with an RBI at the plate. Cameron Perkins had two home runs for the Boilermakers, both solo shots. Matt Jansen took the loss.

Penn State scored early and often, jumping out to an 11-6 lead after three innings, earning an 18-10 win over Ohio State to take the series, 2-1. PSU catcher Ben Heath tallied his second four-hit game in as many days also scoring and driving in four runs, hitting two home runs. Louie Picconi also drove in four on a grand slam in the third. David Lutz earned the win in relief, allowing just two hits in 4.2 innings. Michael Stephens led the Buckeyes at the dish, going 3-for-4 with a run and four RBI. Drew Rucinski took the loss.
