FOUR things you need to know...

1.  Today is the 10th anniversary of Michigan State's 2000 NCAA Championship win; the Spartans defeated Florida, 89-76, on April 3, 2000.
Michigan State is 2-0 at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Spartans were the 2009 NCAA Midwest Regional champs, winning two games at LOS to advance to the Final Four.

2.  Purdue's Chris Kramer and Wisconsin's Trevon Hughes played in yesterday's Reese's All-Star game. The Big Ten duo played for Team Reese's and coached by former Purdue general Gene Keady, current Boilermaker Head Coach Matt Painter and Illinois Head Coach Bruce Weber. Hughes scored 12 points, dished out four assists and had six rebounds in 21 minutes. Kramer added four points, grabbed four rebounds and had two assists in 24 minutes of action.

3.  Evan Turner collected some major hardware yesterday in Indianapolis, bringing home the U.S. Basketball Writers of America Oscar Robertson Trophy honoring the nation's best player and the Associated Press' Player of the Year. The junior guard also earned First-Team State Farm Division I All-America accolades. Purdue's Robbie Hummel was named to the second team.

4.  Coaching legend Gene Keady will receive the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Hillyard Golden Anniversary Award for more than 50 years of service to college basketball. Keady guided his Purdue teams to 18 NCAA Tournament appearances in his 25 seasons as head coach.
