Pruner was named Big Ten Player of the Week for the first time in her career by way of her 2.732 OPS in Ohio State's weekend series with Illinois. The senior belted two home runs over the weekend, knocking in seven as she finished the series with an .857 batting average. On Saturday, Pruner was 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Against the Illini on Sunday, she was 3-for-4 with another homer, five RBI and two runs scored in a 10-2 Buckeye victory. Pruner now has 144 career RBI, which ranks third all-time on the Ohio State list.

Taylor wins her fourth Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor of the season and the sixth of her career. The right-hander threw the first perfect game of her career on Sunday, pitching five flawless innings against Minnesota, striking out 10 of the 15 batters she faced to notch her second win of the weekend and improve her record to 16-2 this season. Against Indiana on Thursday, the junior earned the win with a seven strikeout effort, allowing just five hits and two allowed in an 8-2 Wolverine win. She finished the week with a 1.17 ERA and 17 strikeouts.
