The 2010 NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships begin Thursday afternoon with the first of two team and all-around preliminary sessions. In the 1 p.m. ET session, all-arounders Sarah Schmidt of Illinois, Rebecca Simbhudas of Iowa, Nicole Curler of Michigan State, Sharaya Musser of Penn State as well as vault qualifier Allison Buckley begin their quests for national championships.
In the evening session, scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, Michigan will take to the floor with the hopes of advancing to Saturday's Super Six. In the all-around, Minnesota's Alexis Russell and Penn State's Brandi Personett will compete for a spot in Saturday's all-around finals.
