Wright claims her first career Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week honor after posting a top-10 time nationally and finishing second in the 100-meter hurdles over the weekend at the Mt. SAC Relays at Mt. San Antonio College. The junior set two personal records, including her time of 13.17 in the hurdles, which is the best in the Big Ten this season and seventh-fastest in the NCAA. It is the fifth-best time in Ohio State history, while her time of 11.85 in the 100-meter dash is eighth-best in the conference this season.

Senior Aja Evans collects her third consecutive weekly honor after finishing first in the shot put with a toss of 55-9 (16.99 meters) at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational last weekend. The senior now owns the second-best mark in the country in the event this season and is just .04 meters off from her school record. Overall, Evans has won six Big Ten Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week honors in her career.
