Ohio State overcame a four-run deficit to take the series finale against Illinois, 8-4, on Sunday afternoon. Cory Kovanda and Ryan Dew each went 4-for-5 for the Buckeyes, while Dew had a double and a homer for five RBI and a run scored. Theron Minium picked up the win in three innings of scoreless relief, while Eric Best earned his third save of the year, allowing two hits and a walk with four strikeouts in a three-inning performance. Lee Zerrusen took the loss for Illinois. The Illini were led offensively by Willie Argo, who went 3-for-4 with a run, an RBI and three stolen bases.

Indiana came out on top of a pitchers' duel on Sunday, taking the game, 1-0, and the series, 2-1. Matt Carr picked up the win, allowing just three hits and three walks with four strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work. Chris Squires earned his eighth save, surrendering just one hit while striking out three in 2.1 frames. Francis Brooke was the tough-luck loser, giving up one unearned run while scattering 10 hits and a walk with four strikeouts over 7.1 frames. Paul Snieder closed out the game with 1.2 perfect innings. Alex Dickerson led the Hoosiers at the plate, going 2-for-4 with an RBI. Northwestern's Zach Morton was 2-for-4 with a double and a stolen base.

Iowa busted a 3-3 tie with a combined 10 runs over the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to take Game 3 and the series from Penn State on Sunday. Kurtis Muller led the Hawkeyes with five hits, five RBI and three runs scored, including his first home run of the season. Ryan Durant, Phil Keppler and Andrew Host had a pair of RBI each for Iowa. Zach Robertson picked up the win in relief with 2.1 scoreless innings. Neal Herring was tagged with the loss. Jordan Steranka led the Nittany Lions at the plate, going 2-for-6 with three RBI and a run, hitting his seventh homer of the year.

Ryan LaMarre gave Michigan its first lead of the day in the top of the eighth with a solo home run, giving the Wolverines a 2-1 advantage and a win in Game 3 of the weekend series. Patrick Biondi and John Lorenz each went 2-for-4 for Michigan, while Lorenz drove in the team's first run. Bobby Brosnahan earned the win in 3.2 scoreless relief innings, while starter Brandon Sinnery allowed one run on five hits and four walks in 5.1 frames. Phil Isaksson took the loss, allowing two runs on six hits and three walks with three strikeouts over 7.1 innings. Nick O'Shea led the Gophers, going 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Jonathan Lilly's two-out base hit in the bottom of the eighth pushed Purdue to a 6-5 win over Michigan State on Sunday, assuring the Boilermakers of a series victory. Drew Madia went 2-for-3 at the plate for Purdue, also driving in three runs and scoring one on his seventh homer of the year. Brad Schreiber picked up the win in relief, tossing 1.2 scoreless frames to close out the game. Kurt Wunderlich was tagged with the loss. Ryan Jones led the Spartans with a 2-for-4 performance, driving in and scoring a pair while recording his 11th double of the season.
