W GOLF: Purdue Wins NCAA Championship

The Purdue women's golf team won the first national championship in program history on Friday night at the 2010 NCAA Women's Golf Championships at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C. The Boilermakers finished one-over par to stave off a strong charge from Southern California, which finished one stroke behind at two-over par. It is the first NCAA Women's Golf Championship for any Big Ten school.
