Highlights from Baseball America's state-by-state top prospects:

Northwestern's Eric Jokisch and Chad Noble are notable prospects from the state of Illinois.

Purdue's Matt Bischoff and Matt Jansen and Indiana's Chris Squires and Jerrud Sabourin represent four of the top prospects from the state of Indiana.

Iowa's Kurtis Muller is listed one of the top 10 prospects in that state.

Players from Michigan and Michigan State represent the top nine prospects out of the state of Michigan, led by the Wolverines' Ryan LaMarre (No. 1) and Tyler Burgoon (No. 2).

Penn State catcher Ben Heath is listed as the seventh-best prospect out of the state of Pennsylvania.
