Ohio State sophomore Rachel Rohanna turned in a 7-under-par 65 in the first round of the 2010 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship on Monday, setting a new 18-hole scoring mark for the tournament.

The clubhouse leader heading into Tuesday's second round, Rohanna posted nine birdies and two bogeys to pass the previous record, held by Kellee Booth (1998), Natalie Gulbis (1999) and Amanda Blumenhurst (2008), by one stroke.
