FB: Four Big Ten Standouts Honored with College Football Performance Awards

The College Football Performance Awards for the fifth week of college football have been announced, and several Big Ten players were honored. Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson was named the National Performer of the Week and the National Quarterback of the Week, Indiana's Tandon Doss was selected as the National Wide Receiver of the Week, Minnesota's Eric Lair was tabbed as the National Tight End of the Week and Michigan State's Keshawn Martin was honored as the National Punt Returner of the Week. The purpose of the College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams
