FB: Iowa Hands MSU First Loss While OSU Moves Into Tie for First Place

In the fifth weekend of Big Ten play, Iowa knocked Michigan State from the ranks of the unbeaten to become bowl eligible and leave four conference teams with just one Big Ten loss. Ohio State defeated Minnesota to improve to 4-1 in conference play, as the Buckeyes and Spartans are now tied for first place in the standings. The Hawkeyes and Wisconsin, which had a bye on Saturday, are now tied for third place at 3-1 in conference. Illinois defeated Purdue to improve to 3-2 in Big Ten action and claim sole possession of fifth place.
