FB: Two Big Ten Standouts Honored with College Football Performance Awards

The College Football Performance Awards for the eighth week of college football have been announced, and two Big Ten players were honored. Wisconsin kicker Philip Welch was named the National Kickoff Specialist of the Week and Iowa's Ryan Donahue was selected as the National Punter of the Week. The purpose of the College Football Performance Awards is to provide the most scientifically rigorous conferments in college football. Recipients are selected exclusively based upon objective scientific rankings of the extent to which individual players increase the overall effectiveness of their teams.
