Ohio State advanced to the second round of the NCAA Championship with a 2-1 thrilling OT victory over Albany. The Big Ten Freshman of the Year Paula Pastor-Pitarque contributed the tying and game-winning goal as the Buckeyes (17-4) advance to play Syracuse, Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
The Michigan Wolverines saw their season come to an end Sunday afternoon following a competitive 1-0 loss to Old Dominion in the Chapel Hill Regional. Michigan finished the season 15-7 overall and were the Big Ten Co-Champions and Big Ten Tournament Champion.
