FH: Final Weekly Rankings

In the final 2010 Kookaburra/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll released on Tuesday, four Big Ten teams ranked among the nation's top 20 while another received votes.

Ohio State, after clinching a share of the Big Ten Championship, moved to No. 7 in the rankings. Michigan, fresh off its Big Ten Tournament championship, moved up to No. 8 in the rankings. The Wolverines finished the season 15-6  and look to improve on their record when they begin play in the NCAA Championships, which begin this weekend. Penn State, with a 14-5 overall record, came in at No. 10  while rounding out the ranked conference schools is Michigan State, which at 15-5 is No. 11 in this week's rankings.

Northwestern is the other conference team receiving votes.

At 8 p.m. ET tonight, the participants for the 2010 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championships will be officially announced live on a streamed event through this link. Michigan, which earned the Big Ten's automatic berth by winning the Big Ten Tournament, will be one of the 16 teams invited to the tournament.
