FH: Ohio State Makes First Appearance in Final Four

For the first time in program history, seventh-ranked Ohio State will play in the 2010 NCAA Division I Field Hockey Final Four. The Buckeyes (18-4) will face No. 1 seed Maryland (20-1) in the semifinals today at 4:30 p.m. ET at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex on the University of Maryland. The game will be streamed live on NCAA.com.

The winner of the Ohio State/Maryland game will face the winner of the first semifinal between No. 2 seed North Carolina and No. 3 seed Virginia. The championship game will be held Sunday at Noon ET.

For the third time, the Ohio State Buckeyes earned a share of the Big Ten Championship. The 18 victories this year is a single-season program record.
