No. 14 Indiana dropped a 2-1 decision to No. 3 Akron on Sunday afternoon, bowing out of the NCAA Championship. The Hoosiers and Zips played a scoreless first half before Akron took the lead on two goals within two minutes early on in the second. Andy Adlard notched the lone Indiana goal of the contest, scoring in the 83rd minute to cut Akron's lead in half. The Hoosiers wrap up the season with a 10-8-2 overall record.
