No. 16 Ohio State used two second-half goals to defeat Providence, 2-1, in the NCAA Championship second round on Sunday. Konrad Warzycha opened the scoring in the 58th minute to put the Buckeyes up 1-0. Omar Vallejo extended the hosts' lead to 2-0 in the 72nd minute. The Friars scored their lone goal of the contest in the 85th minute, but the Buckeyes held onto the lead to advance to the third round. Ohio State will take on the winner of top-seeded Louisville and College of Charleston in the round of 16.
