WRES: In the Polls

Nine Big Ten wrestling teams appear in the latest NWCA/USA Today Division I Coaches Poll. No. 3 Minnesota, No. 4 Wisconsin and No. 5 Penn State each retain their ranking from last week's poll, while Iowa moves from No. T-6 to No. 7. Illinois rounds out the Big Ten contingent in the top 10, checking in at No. 9. Michigan moves up two spots to No. 19, while Northwestern stands pat at No. 20. Purdue also moves up two ranks, appearing at No. 21, followed by Ohio State at No. 22.

Minnesota also leads the way in the InterMat Tournament Rankings, taking No. 4 in this week's edition. No. 5 Wisconsin, No. 6 Penn State, No. 7 Iowa, No. 9 Northwestern and No. 10 Illinois give the Big Ten six teams in the top 10. Michigan checks in at No. 21, followed by Purdue at No. 35, Ohio State at No. 36, Indiana at No. 39 and Michigan State at No. 47.
