#2/2 OHIO STATE def. MICHIGAN, 68-64
The University of Michigan men's basketball team rallied from a 12-point deficit and got within two points with less a minute to play but could not overtake Ohio State (No. 2 AP/No. 2 ESPN/USA Today) in a 68-64 loss on Wednesday night inside Crisler Arena. Four Wolverines finished in double-digit scoring, led by sophomore guard Darius Morris with 18 points and eight assists. Junior guard Zack Novak finished with 16 points, while freshmen Evan Smotrycz and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 14 and 11, respectively. RECAP & BOX SCORE

It was one of those nights inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Wednesday. Unfortunately, it was one of those nights for Northwestern, as it got the loose balls, made the extra pass and connected on 14 three-pointers - - 10 in the first half alone -- in downing the Hawkeyes, 90-71. RECAP & BOX SCORE
