Northwestern 69 (rv/rv), Illinois 66
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- In a game that saw 10 lead changes, eight ties and overtime, Northwestern gutted out a 69-66 victory against Illinois at Assembly Hall Sunday afternoon. Beth Marshall stepped up with a triple as the regulation horn sounded, sending the game into overtime where NU converted on 7-of-8 from the free throw line to earn its 13th victory of the season. Sunday marks the first time the Wildcats (13-4, 2-2) have defeated Illinois since the 1998-99 season. RECAP

Purdue 55, Indiana 50
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Purdue (11-5, 2-2) retained possession of the Barn Burner Trophy with a 55-50 victory against Indiana in Bloomington on Sunday. The Boilermakers struggled from the field, shooting under 30 percent from the floor, but played solid defense and hit their free throws to secure the five-point win. Purdue finished 20-of-21 from the free throw line for 95.2 percent. The Boilermakers were 14th nationally in free throw percentage with a season average of 76.5 percent coming into the contest. #11/13 Michigan State 63, Michigan 56 (rv/rv)
The Spartans (15-1, 3-0 Big Ten) had 17 offensive rebounds to Michigan's 17 defensive rebounds, and had a 24-7 advantage on the other end. Lykendra Johnson was the biggest reason for Michigan State's domination of the glass. She finished with 17 rebounds, including 10 on the offensive glass, to go along with 17 points. RECAP

Wisconsin 47, Minnesota 42
MADISON, Wis. -- After seeing an 18-point second-half lead cut to three, the Wisconsin women's basketball team held on for a 47-42 victory over Minnesota Sunday in front of a crowd of 4,690 at the Kohl Center. Lisa Stone's teams have always prided themselves on their defense and today's game against Minnesota was a perfect example of that. RECAP
