CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- Brittany Johnson scored 22 points and Jantel Lavender added 19 and 12 boards to help No. 25 Ohio State beat Illinois 71-62 on Thursday night. Johnson tied a career high with seven three-pointers while the Buckeyes also got a lift off the bench from freshman center Ashley Adams. The Siloam Springs, Ark., native played with confidence and poise, nearly recording a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. She also had five blocks, four assists and three steals. RECAP

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) - No. 12 Michigan State couldn't overpower Indiana, so the Spartans let its perimeter shooters open things up. Kalisha Keane matched a career-high with four 3s and finished with 23 points, Lykendra Johnson had 16 points, and Michigan State made 10 3-pointers as it rolled to a 69-55 victory on Thursday night. Wisconsin 71, Minnesota 63
MINNEAPOLIS -- After trailing by as many as 16 points in the first half, the Wisconsin women's basketball team outscored Minnesota 41-19 in the second half to defeat the Gophers, 71-63, Thursday night. The win at Williams Arena marks the second-biggest comeback in Badger women's basketball program history and also helps Wisconsin jump to second place in the Big Ten Conference. RECAP

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Senior guard Veronica Hicks (Chicago, Ill./Thornwood) tallied her second consecutive double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds to lead the University of Michigan women's basketball team to a 76-67 win at Northwestern on Thursday (Jan. 20) at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The loss was Northwestern's second home loss of the season and Michigan's first win at Northwestern since the 2007-08 campaign. RECAP

Purdue 79, #rv/- Penn State 69
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - High-octane offense and stingy defense gave Purdue a 79-69 win against the Penn State Lady Lions on Thursday night. The Boilermakers shot just over 43 percent for the game and had three players score in double-digits, including a game-high 19 points by freshman Courtney Moses. RECAP
