Penn State 67, Illinois 65
CHAMPAIGN, ILL. - Senior guard/forward Julia Trogele's (Devon, Pa.) layup with 9.1 seconds remaining pushed the Penn State Lady Lions (17-5, 6-2) to a 67-65 win over Illinois (7-14, 2-6) in Champaign on Thursday night. The victory moves the Lady Lions into a four-way tie for first place in the Big Ten standings and equals Penn State's win total from a year ago. Trogele and sophomore center Nikki Greene (Diboll, Texas) each recorded double-doubles as the Lady Lions found success in the paint. Penn State outrebounded the Illini, 49-29, for a second-straight dominating performance on the boards. RECAP

Iowa 66, Michigan State 64
Head coach Lisa Bluder's 18th-ranked Hawkeyes avenged a last-second loss from two weeks ago to this same Spartan team, and this time triumphing, 66-64. The heart-pumping victory improved Iowa's record to 16-5 overall and 4-4 in conference play, while Michigan State fell to 18-3 overall and 6-2 in the Big Ten. RECAP

Minnesota 63, Northwestern 58
Sophomore forward Katie Loberg scored a career-high 21 points, while junior guard Kiara Buford had 18 points and four steals, as Minnesota rallied from a four-point halftime deficit to snap a seven-game losing streak and defeat Northwestern, 63-58. The Gophers also received a career-best 15 rebounds and eight points from freshman guard/forward Kionna Kellogg, who was making her second career start, while junior forward Jackie Voigt added seven points and 10 rebounds. Michigan 69, Ohio State 66
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Trailing by one point with 1:22 remaining in the half, sophomore Rachel Sheffer (Watervliet, Mich./Watervliet) and classmate Jenny Ryan (Saginaw, Mich./Nouvel Catholic Central) both hit a pair of free throws to seal a 69-66, come-from-behind win at No. 24 Ohio State on Thursday (Jan. 27) inside Value City Arena. The win was U-M's first in Columbus since the 2000-01 season, and second over the Buckeyes this season, and extends Michigan's unbeaten streak to four consecutive games. RECAP

Purdue 69, SIU Edwardsville 39
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - After getting out to a slow start in Thursday's game against Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (7-13), Purdue (14-7, 4-4 Big Ten) stormed back to a 69-39 victory. RECAP
