WRES: In the Polls

Eight Big Ten wrestling teams have earned top-25 status in the latest NWCA/USA Today Coaches Poll, led by Penn State at No. 2 for the third consecutive week. Wisconsin sits at No. 4 with Minnesota following at No. 5. Eighth-ranked Iowa climbs two spots from last week's poll, while Michigan holds No. 11 for the second-straight week. Illinois also maintains its ranking from last week, checking in at No. 15. Northwestern moves up three spots to No. 19, while Purdue rounds out the group of ranked conference teams at No. 23. Indiana and Ohio State are each receiving votes in the latest poll.

Penn State also leads the way in the InterMat Tournament Rankings, moving into a tie for No. 1 with Cornell. Wisconsin and Minnesota again check in at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, while Iowa sits at No. 10. Northwestern jumps to No. 12 in the latest rankings, followed by No. 13 Michigan, No. 18 Illinois and No. 20 Indiana. Ohio State ranks 37th in this week's edition, while Purdue holds No. 39 and Michigan State sits at No. 56.
