Eight Big Ten wrestling teams appear in the final NWCA/USA Today Coaches Poll, released on Wednesday. After clinching its fourth consecutive Big Ten regular season dual-meet title, Iowa has earned three first-place votes en route to a No. 2 ranking. Penn State remains at No. 4, while Minnesota also stands pat at No. 5 in the final poll of the season. Michigan sits at No. 11, while Northwestern holds No. 14, Wisconsin moves up to No. 15 and Illinois falls one spot to No. 19. Purdue rounds out the Big Ten contingent at No. 23.
Penn State has earned the top spot among conference teams in the InterMat Team Rankings, checking in at No. 2. Iowa follows at No. 3, while No. 5 Wisconsin and No. 7 Minnesota have also received top-10 nods. Michigan and Northwestern sit in a tie for No. 16 this week, while Illinois holds No. 25. Purdue checks in at No. 27, followed by No. 34 Ohio State, No. 36 Indiana and No. 52 Michigan State.
