The University Aquatic Center and the University of Minnesota will play host to the 2011 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships. Competition begins Thursday, March 24, with the 200 freestyle relay and concludes Saturday, March 26, with the 400 freestyle relay. This year's event will feature 62 Big Ten student-athletes from all ten participating conference institutions. Overall, student-athletes from 41 different schools will compete this week with 235 swimmers and 35 divers taking part at the national meet. Seven Big Ten teams appear among the top-25 in the latest CSCAA rankings. Michigan fronts all schools at No. 7, followed by No. 10 Ohio State, No. 12 Indiana, No. 15 Minnesota and No. 19 Purdue. Penn State and Iowa round out the conference contingent at Nos. 22 and 24, respectively.
