Co-Player of the Week
Jessica Davis, Illinois

Davis earns her first career Player of the Week distinction after belting four home runs in leading Illinois to a sweep of Ohio State last week. The sophomore went 4-for-5 in two games against the Buckeyes, hitting a pair of long balls in each game of the series. She drove in eight runs, scored six more and finished with a 4.075 OPS in the series. Davis also went 2-for-4 in a midweek contest against Illinois State to bring her weekly batting average to .667.

Amanda Chidester, Michigan
Jr., 3B, Allen Park, Mich./Cabrini

Chidester wins Big Ten Player of the Week honors for the second time in her career after a 3-for-4 effort in Michigan's two-game sweep of Purdue last week. The junior drove in eight runs against the Boilermakers, including seven in the series opener on the strength of two home runs. In addition, she scored three runs in the first game of the series before adding a run and an RBI in the finale on Sunday as she finished the week with a 2.250 slugging percentage.

Pitcher of the Week
Morgan Melloh, Indiana
Sr., P, Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern

Melloh allowed three hits and struck out 19 in Indiana's series sweep of Penn State last weekend en route to earning Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. Hurling complete game shutouts in both ends of the series, Melloh allowed just one hit in eight innings and struck out 12 in Indiana's 3-0 win in the opener. In Game 2, she followed up with a two-hit outing, striking out seven and walking one in a 1-0 victory. In non-conference action, Melloh did not allow an earned run against Louisville and finished the week with a 0.00 ERA.

Freshman of the Week
Sara Moulton, Minnesota
P, Eagan, Minn./Eagan

In two appearances last week, Moulton allowed just eight hits in 17 scoreless innings of work and struck out 28 batters to clinch Big Ten Freshman of the Week accolades for the third time this season. In 10 frames against Iowa State, Moulton surrendered seven hits, but struck out 15 as Minnesota held on for a 1-0 win. Against South Dakota, the freshman gave up just one hit while striking out 13 batters in the Gophers' 3-0 victory.
