COLUMBUS, Ohio - A seven-run third inning and hits all around gave the Boilermaker softball team a 7-0 win over Ohio State on Saturday. The victory takes Purdue to 26-12-1 overall and 4-3 in the Big Ten campaign. The teams will face off again at 2 p.m. Sunday. RECAP

Iowa 10, Northwestern 8
IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Johnnie Dowling's two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning lifted the University of Iowa softball team to a 10-8 victory over Northwestern Saturday afternoon at Pearl Field. The Hawkeyes rallied from an 8-6 deficit with two runs in the seventh before the long ball lifted the squad to the extra inning victory. RECAP

Minnesota 1, Penn State 0
Sara Moulton threw her 12th shutout of the season and Sara DuPaul doubled in the game's only run in the third inning as Minnesota topped Penn State 1-0 on Saturday at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. The low-scoring affair remained scoreless until the third inning when Minnesota (25-17 overall, 3-4 Big Ten) capitalized on a pair of lead-off base runners to score the sole run of the afternoon. Indiana 4, Wisconsin 3
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana Hoosiers (26-15, 7-2 Big Ten) extended to a six game winning streak with a 4-3 win in eight innings over the Wisconsin Badgers (22-16, 2-5 Big Ten) at the IU Softball Field. The Hoosiers scored the game-winning run in the eighth inning on a single by Sara Olson and an error in left field by the Badgers. RECAP
