Chris Lashmet, Jack Livingston and Paul Snieder had three hits apiece as Northwestern pounded out 20 hits as a team in defeating Michigan 11-6 Saturday afternoon at Rocky Miller Park. RECAP & BOX SCORE

IOWA def. OHIO STATE, 9-8
Iowa tied the score with a four-run ninth inning and then added a run in the 10th to stun the Buckeyes, 9-8, in the second game of this three game series. Iowa improves to 20-27 overall and 9-11 in the Big Ten while Ohio State falls to 22-24 overall and 10-10 in the Big Ten. RECAP & BOX SCORE

MINNESOTA def. PENN STATE, 3-2
Mario Eramo gave the Penn State baseball team an early lead with a two-run blast in the bottom of the second, but Minnesota slowly chipped away and eventually overcame its deficit in the top of the seventh to even the series with a 3-2 victory on a cloudy Saturday afternoon at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. ILLINOIS def. PURDUE, 7-4
Purdue baseball was able to record multiple hits in an inning only twice on the day and the lackluster offensive production coupled with an early deficit cost the Boilermakers in a 7-4 loss to Illinois Saturday afternoon at Lambert Field. RECAP & BOX SCORE
