Northwestern senior Robin Thompson was named third team Academic All-America by the College Sports Information Directors of America on Thursday. She becomes the fifth Wildcat in program history to win the award. A human development and psychological services major, Thompson was named a second-team All-Big Ten performer after batting .426 in conference play.
