COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Penn State softball team swept Ohio State 10-2 and 4-3 (9 inning) in a doubleheader on Wednesday night at muggy Buckeye Field. PSU crushed the Buckeyes in the opener before coming back from a two-run deficit to take the nightcap, completing a historic sweep of OSU, the first in Columbus. Penn State improves to 27-22-1, 9-8-1 in the Big Ten, while Ohio State falls to 14-35 overall with a 3-15 mark in Big Ten play. RECAP

Michigan State 3, Purdue 2
EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Michigan State softball team (27-25, 6-11 Big Ten) used a spark from junior Lori Padilla in game two to split its doubleheader with Purdue at Secchia Stadium in East Lansing on Wednesday, May 11. After dropping game one, 5-0, the Spartans rallied for a 3-2 win in the second game, after trailing 2-0 early on. RECAP

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Boilermaker softball team's midweek trek to East Lansing ended in a draw as Purdue and Michigan State split the Wednesday doubleheader.
